Our company has been active since 2006, in which time we have acquired enormous experience and completed a large number of translation projects. We have built long-term relationships with our customers through a conscientious and responsible approach to what we do.

Translation Services

The company’s founders have law degrees from Moscow State University and have worked for a long time in the industry, including positions at multinational companies. Two of MTA’s key objectives from the beginning were to help lawyers and auditors obtain high-quality translations of business documents, and to provide high-quality customer service.
Over the years, we’ve accumulated a vast terminological base and assembled a team of professional translators with legal expertise capable of meeting the high expectations of our customers. These customers include industry leaders such as EY, Hogan Lovells, Noerr, Norton Rose, DLA Piper, Lawrence Graham, Jaquemoud & Stanislas Law Firm, and Korelski Ishchuk Astafev and Partners.

By doing business with world-class law and consulting firms, MTA has mastered the art of translating documents in the fields of financial services, asset management, banking, auditing, capital markets and insurance. A number of firms have come to appreciate this, including Deutsche Bank, UniCredit Bank, BNP Paribas, JPMorgan, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, AIG and A1 Investments.

Technical translation is one of MTA’s two main specializations. Since 2006, we’ve translated more than 500,000 pages of technical documents (from descriptions of home appliances to project documentation for comprehensive equipment upgrades, construction of production lines, industrial plants and electric power infrastructure).

The main elements of a successful project are:

Employing translators of the appropriate specialization
Writing up instructions for all the translators before starting work on the project
Creating a glossary for each project and keeping it up-to-date
Using CAT tools in order to maintain consistent translation quality and terminology
Mandatory professional editing, enlisting the help of engineers and technicians when necessary

In order to meet the needs of our customers, MTA provides consecutive and simultaneous interpreting services.

MTA’s team of interpreters consists only of highly qualified experts with many years of experience. The impeccable quality of our services has made us a top provider of interpretation services at events at the highest level:

If you need interpreting services abroad, we may be able to provide you with an interpreter on-site, so you save money on hotels. We can also provide equipment for simultaneous translation.

We can have translations notarized. Documents for which the translator’s signature must be notarized include official foreign documents submitted to Russian authorities and Russian documents submitted to foreign authorities.

We partner with several Governmental notaries, which means we’re able to get documents notarized quickly.
MTA Translation also takes responsibility for getting documents apostille-stamped or legalized by a consulate, which involves working with the consulate of the destination country.

We have our own courier service, which our customers can use free of charge.

MTA Translation was established in 2006 by Kirill Kosolapov and Pavel Zaika, graduates of the Law Faculty of Moscow State University.
